​Shahnaz Rahman Lone: I grew in the beautiful valley of Kashmir and did my masters in plant sciences from University of Kashmir. Due to sudden turn of events, I landed in Chronobiolgy lab and in due course of time started liking the field. I finished my PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research Bangalore (Bengaluru) with distinction. I did my postdoctoral research in Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA and University of Fribourg, Switzerland. My hobbies are cooking, mountaineering and reading biographies.

Sukriti Mishra: Native of Uttar Pradesh but brought up in different parts of India including Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. I have done my schooling in Rashtriya Military School, thereafter I completed my graduation from Rajasthan University.  Currently I am pursuing masters in Life Sciences specialization in Animal Sciences from Central University of Punjab, Bathinda. I am interested to dissect the neurocircuitry responsible for social interactions. My future interests lie in understanding cell-cell signaling in neurodegenerative diseases.

Sunil Kumar Birua: I grew up in a small town of Rairangpur in the state of Odisha. I did my bachelors degree from Utkal University (Temple City of Bhubaneswar,), Odisha. Presently I am pursuing my masters degree in Life Sciences with specialization in Animal Sciences at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India. I am currently trying to establish Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) model of Drosophila. My hobbies are photography, art, traveling, mountaineering & reading novels.    ​

Nisha Sharma: I am from a small village of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh. My schooling is from Kendriya Vidyalaya. I did my bachelor's degree in Zoology (Hons) from  Himachal Pradesh University. Currently, I am pursuing Master's degree in Life sciences with specialization in Animal Sciences at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, India. I am interested in studying sleep - wake behaviour and sleep disorder in humans using fruit fly as model organism. My hobbies are reading novels & gardening.
